It is critical that you find a placement with a suitably qualified teacher and workplace assessor who can observe you, comment on your skills, and produce a report to fulfil the assessment criteria. This particular course is a component of a nested suite and is accessible to individuals aged 16 and above, without any previous qualifications. However, to enrol in the course, it is necessary that you’re employed or engaged in voluntary work at a school or college from key stage one. This is because the course mandates completion of a work placement and submission of evidence and observations as part of the assessment.
Once you successfully complete the course, you will obtain a certification in Supporting Teaching and Learning at NCFE CACHE Level 2. You will receive a certificate as recognition of your achievement.
