As part of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training RQF, you will also participate in one hour of micro-teaching. This hour should include at least a 15-minute teaching session that you lead. The remaining 45 minutes may be used for observing fellow learners conduct their micro-teaching sessions. Alternatively, you have the option to use the full one-hour block for your teaching session.

Unit 1: Understanding Roles, Responsibilities, and Relationships in Education and Training
Unit 2: Understanding and Using Inclusive Teaching and Learning Approaches in Education and Training
Unit 3: Session Planning and Micro-Teaching Skills
Unit 4: Understanding Assessment in Education and Training
You’ll assemble a portfolio of evidence by successfully completing the written assessments presented at the end of each unit. Your assessor will help in this process by evaluating and giving you feedback on each unit.
You will also engage in one hour of micro-teaching as part of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training RQF. You should lead a 15-minute teaching session during this hour. The remaining 45 minutes can be spent observing other students’ micro-teaching sessions. Alternatively, you can use the entire one-hour slot for your teaching session.
There are no requirements to enrol in this course.
Once you’ve successfully completed each unit and the micro-teaching session, you’ll be awarded a certificate of achievement from the awarding organisation, TQUK.
