About This Dog Grooming Course

Becoming a dog groomer can be a very rewarding career financially. If you’re a dog lover, you will have the added bonus of working with dogs all day, whilst earning money for the privilege.

If you wish to open your own dog grooming salon, work for an existing salon or do mobile grooming, this online dog grooming course will give you the skills you need to succeed.

To gain your Dog Groomer Level 3 certificate, you will need to complete all tutor marked assignments within a twelve month period. There are a total of six assignments for the course, with all the information required to complete within your study pack, or online learning portal. There is no need to purchase additional reading material to complete the course.

All assignments are coursework based and are in an essay/question and answer style to test your knowledge of the topics covered in each of the course sections.

This course teaches the knowledge required to work in this sector and helps people to launch their own grooming business so that they can provide excellent care to dogs on a daily basis.

Note: On completion of this course, you can start your own dog grooming business, earning an average of £25/hr (£35,000/year)!

Assessment

Our online dog groomer course takes an average of 80 learning and assessment hours to complete (3 months). Assessments are a series of written assignments with no exams or presentations required to complete the course.

You will have the chance to re-submit your assignments as needed with no additional cost. Each assignment will be marked by your tutor, who will provide advice to improve upon the assignment if required.

Required Knowledge

There is no requirement to have any background knowledge of qualifications to complete/enrol on this course and your tutor will provide support from day one!
